While Sony did have more realistic-looking characters and environments, the overall graphical sharpness goes to the N64. In the graphics department, Nintendo took the victory on this one.

The Super 64 takes the N64’s 240p or 480i S-Video signal and uses hardware to upscale it to 480p while tuning the colors and brightness.
